Tricked!
So I got Appleface to join the family at the pubic library today. On the way home I just happened to stop at the local emergency department. He was not impressed. When we talked to the Doctor he said the it appears that Appleface is suffering the effects of old age and possible bruising due to trauma. I'm not sure how he got hurt but I will do my best to find out.

He is certainly developing a lot of character in his face. I think he looks angry today.
What a fabulous portrait. A shame it's done under some sad and distressing circumstances, but you have managed to capture such great expression in his face! Very nicely done.

AppleFace is starting to look somewhat French to me, the top of his head representing a jauntily placed beret, even the stalk looks right for a beret.

It's interesting to watch his face change every day. Like people the increasing lines show more character as he ages.
