I will be taking a picture a day of my carved apple face. As it ages it will get more character. Hopefully it wont get moldy.
There is a reason I don't enter many Multi Media contests. I suck at carving and sculpting and stuff like that.

I love the curve of the expression in his mouth. Great idea, but I fear for how this apple will end up. I suspect less mouldy problems than drying out and shrivelling up. But I am interested to see the outcome. Will watch this space expectantly! ;-)

What a wacky theme, I love it! Nice capture of the apple and cool carving. The puckered lips are adorable. I'm not sure I can make the same comment about the lips ten days from now, though...
It will be interesting watching your apple shrivel and age. Certainly there will be many character lines created. Looking forward to the next 30 days.
What a great idea for a theme. I think it would also make a great poster at the end. :D

I love the theme, try propping your camera on a solid surface or use a tripod for a crisper pic (pun intended.)
I do hope he lasts the 30 days, this will be interesting to say the least.

Can't wait to see how this turns out. We used to do this when I was a little girl - my grandmother would make "old lady" dolls out of them. :D
