Beyond Cold
So this morning was the coldest day of winter so far. The temp was -40 C and -54 C with the windchill. Now apple face, having grown in a temperate climate was quite shocked to see this kind of cold. From the pictures you can see how thick the ice was on the inside of our windows. I tried to convince him to go outside but it was futile.

Wow, that ice is on the inside? Yikes. I don't blame Apple Face for not wanting to go outside!
Now that's quite cold… But that'll keep the Applefaces fresh, right? Shudder -- and I thought our -8° C would be cold already.
She's starting to shrivel nicely! Keep her away from too much cold though - she might stay preserved too long. ;) Cute shot!
Capriccio! It's MR Apple Face!
It's looks so cold there, like the inside of a freezer almost.
I'm happy he has stayed inside out of the cold, warm and cosy.
He is shrivelling up nicely. I like the composition on this picture.
The diagonal is a nice border between the very cold outside and relatively warm inside, I hope the humans inside your house are not to cold though.
Wow, that IS cold. Poor Apple Face can't go out to play. Never mind. His face really is developing lots of character now!
AppleFace is looking a little remorseful... Maybe he said some things yesterday about the wasted fruit that went a bit too far?
Another great picture.

-Lol! That's one sentence I haven't heard yet or will likely to hear again :)
Mr. Appleface is starting to get a tan even with the cold weather. And I just noticed that he has bangs! Groovy :) Fabulous use of diagonals to show both the exterior and interior.
brrrrrr - very cold. Mr Apple Face might stay quite well preserved if he goes outside!
Brrrrr! I hope everyone (including Mr. Apple Face) stays warm. I'm assuming these are not unusual temps for you way up north.
hahaha! cool subject! Mr. Appleface should be quite interesting looking by day 30. Do you suppose it will smell funny too? ;)
Wow, that is cold! Lovely use of diagonals...
