Ratty Old piece of Hotdog

So, yesterday was Canada Day and we had some friends over for a B-B-Q.
Today I was looking for something to take a picture of and I found this dried up piece of hot dog. They are not so appetizing after they dry out.

Actually, before I read your description, I thought it was a partially eaten piece of croissant. Your breakfast, perhaps. Oh well. :)

Hm, after 'How It's Made' showing me a hot dog factory and this photo, I may be done with hot dogs for a while! :)

I liked your picture... until I read what it was :p
Still very nice lighting. You must be the first person to make a studio shot of a piece of hotdog.

My immediate thought was that it was a slightly abnormal croissant. Yes, definitely doesn't look appealing to be eaten now!

I didn't know a hotdog could look like this. Is this an entire hotdog or just the skin? Nice lighting :)

When I first saw it I thought it was a cicada skin/shell/whateveritistheyshed. Now that I know what it is, I can't decide which is grosser.
