Young Pine cone
So today my family went to the Saskatoon forestry farm(Zoo) and while we were walking around I noticed this immature pine cone. I thought that it looked really neat. I took a bunch of other pics that I might post another time.

When I first saw this, I thought it was a baby artichoke! Nice find. I have 5 pines in my yard, but the baby pine cones are always brown, never green.
